We’ve been busy improving the Creator Portal and giving Lenny.fm a redesign (launching soon, maybe a couple more days).

If you only read one thing...

Confirm here in under 10 seconds.

Not necessary if you have filled out the form with payment and other info.

You can then accumulate funds from Listeners who choose to support your show.

Know a Podcast Creator? They can join too!

Why opt in?

We had a lawyer to review our processes and they recommended this change.

So now...

• When a new paid Supporter joins we contact the shows they chose.
• Podcasts that opt in or have already opted in, get a split of the funds.
• New Supporters start getting charged 28 days after joining. This is time enough for us to contact the shows they chose.

Subscription price options - $4, $8, $12 & $24

This was a common questions from Creators AND Listeners.

Q: Can they/I contribute more?

A: Soon, yes! There's a little bit of coding to make it work.

New price options for monthly contributions will be:

• $4
• $8
• $12
• $24

It's not lost on us that having ANY amount large or small would be ideal.

We just need to get through the list of things to do that it's on.

Lastly, you'll be hearing from me/us more often!

Once a month or so I'll have an update on our progress.

We had a jump in growth then pulled back once we saw that our assumptions on a couple of things were wrong, and there was an opportunity to refresh the design.

Looking forward to talking to more Creators and Listeners more often.

You don't have to get the updates, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter and still be eligible for Listener Support through Lenny.fm.

We've started a Slack channel for Podcast Creators using Lenny.fm and a subreddit, r/lennyfm.

Both are a bit empty, but you have to start somewhere!
