How getting paid works

2. Your support accumulates in your Lenny balance
3. You request a payout when it suits you
4. You receive a single transfer of your available balance

There’s no fixed payout schedule and no minimum threshold. You're in control.

Fees and transparency

Lenny is designed to be simple and fair.

• Lenny platform fee: 10%
• Payment processing fees: charged by the payment provider and passed through
• Payout fees: depend on the payout method you choose

There are no hidden fees and no lock-ins.

• Direct bank transfer

• Listeners and users are free to say they would like to support a podcast but no funds will be collected on behalf of or allocated to that podcast until they join.
• Only podcasts that have joined the Creator Portal can accumulate support from Listeners.

How much can I earn?

Earnings depend on audience size and how many listeners choose to support.

Here are realistic examples:

Small podcast
500 listeners → 2% support (10 supporters)
10 × $4/month = $40/month before fees

Growing podcast
2,000 listeners → 3% support (60 supporters)
60 × $4/month = $240/month before fees

Established podcast
10,000 listeners → 2% support (200 supporters)
200 × $4/month = $800/month before fees

Many creators use listener support to cover hosting, production costs, or to reinvest in better content.

If your podcast isn’t on Lenny yet

Lenny does not collect funds for podcasts that haven’t joined the Creator Portal.

Once you create a creator account, you can start receiving support.
